One of the most important trade fairs dedicated to the world of construction is undoubdtely CONEXPO-CON/AGG which is held in Las Vegas (USA) every three-years and that this year will be from March 14 to 18, 2023.
Construction Machinery, Building and Construction Materials such as asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities...are among the topics covered by this trade show for North America.
We at SAFI GROUP, in our 60 years of business have supplied equipment of all kinds for the construction and restoration industry, helping to write the history of modern engineering and architecture from the second half of the 1900s to the present day.
Despite being an engineering industry, we have always made our experience available to give advice and solutions to our clients/users, designing and customizing our machines to the needs of the specific construction site and/or client, and right because of this we were able to take part in works of worldwide importance.
Some of the many applications include:
– Eurotunnel, in the English Channel, where our first TST 500 equipment was supplied for tunnel waterproofing;
– Historical monuments of ancient civilizations such as the Colosseum in Rome and the Parthenon in Athens, where our platforms were used in various restoration work;
– Structures created by famous architects such as the Science Museum in Valencia (Calatrava), the Cité Universitarie in Lyon (Renzo Piano), with work platforms specially modified to respect the architectural peculiarities of these prestigious projects;
– the New Safe Confinement of the No. 4 reactor at Chernobyl (UA), built by NOVARKA joint-venture, where we installed two plumbed elevators capable of shielding the occupants from the risk of dangerous radiation;
– Chemical and petroleum product refining plants, where we installed permanent elevators for work in ATEX explosive atmosphere;
– Defense industry: supply of permanent elevators and hoists with high capacity and “autonomy.”
